Global Hand Washing Day Observed

Global Hand Washing Day is observed on 15th October each year. It is an International Hand Washing promotion campaign to motivate people around the world to improve their handwashing habits.

To inculcate this habit into our little RIMTians, the pre-primary section celebrated Global Hand Washing Day to help students understand the importance of washing their hands regularly. The tiny tots were taught the importance of keeping their hands clean to fight infections and keep away from diseases. They were explained that hygiene should be practiced before and after preparing food, before eating, after using the toilet, and whenever hands look dirty. Washing hands at critical points during the day and washing with soap are both important.
