World Tourism Day

World Tourism Day, celebrated each year on 27 September, is the global observance day fostering awareness of tourism’s social, cultural, political and economic value and the contribution that the sector can make towards reaching the Sustainable Development Goals.

To mark the significance of this day, a special assembly was conducted by the students of class II. The students showcased various tourist places of India and other countries. They also spoke about the seven wonders of the world. A short quiz on important tourist destinations across the globe was also conducted.
