Empowering Educators: CBSE Capacity Building Workshop on Mental Health and Wellness
Recognising the growing need to foster emotionally resilient and mentally healthy learning spaces, RIMT World School proudly hosted a transformative CBSE Capacity Building Programme on “Promoting Mental Health and Wellness among Students.” The workshop aimed to align educational practices with the visionary goals of NEP 2020, focusing on nurturing well-being alongside academic excellence.
The enriching session was led by two eminent CBSE resource persons:
Dr. Seema Biji, a distinguished educationist and mental health advocate, and
Ms. Neha Vij, a dynamic trainer and committed mentor in the field of student-centric pedagogy.
The workshop offered an engaging blend of interactive modules, collaborative group tasks, reflective sharing, and real-life case discussions, encouraging teachers to explore practical tools for promoting emotional safety in classrooms.
Educators enthusiastically participated in team-based activities that promoted peer learning, empathy-building, and innovative approaches to well-being. The session also emphasized the vital role of teachers as mental health champions, reinforcing the need for self-care, inclusive practices, and supportive school environments.
By the end of the programme, teachers felt empowered, inspired, and better equipped to lead with compassion and care—reaffirming RIMT World School’s unwavering commitment to holistic education and student well-being.
